Getting Started

Is PASUMBIYA free to use?

Yes. The free plan is free forever — no credit card, no trial period, no expiry.

What is the Pro plan?

Pro removes all limits: unlimited expenses, wallets, categories, budgets, and full analytics history. During our launch period, Pro is completely free.

How long does setup take?

Less than 2 minutes. Create an account, confirm your email, and you're on the dashboard.

Do I need to download an app?

No. PASUMBIYA runs entirely in your browser. Open pasumbiya.online on any device.

Expenses & Wallets

What is a wallet?

A wallet represents a real account — cash in hand, a bank account, a credit card, or an e-wallet like FriMi. Each wallet tracks its own balance.

How is my wallet balance calculated?

Balance = Opening balance + all income recorded to that wallet − all expenses − outgoing transfers + incoming transfers.

Can I transfer between wallets?

Yes. Select "Transfer" when adding a record and choose the From and To wallets. Both balances update immediately.

What if I made a mistake in a record?

Edit any record by hovering over it in the Expenses table and clicking the pencil icon.

Can I add expenses for past dates?

Yes. Use the date picker to choose any date when adding or editing a record.

Budgets

How does a budget work?

Set a monthly spending limit for any expense category. PASUMBIYA tracks spending against that limit and shows a progress bar.

What happens when I go over budget?

The progress bar turns red and your dashboard shows an "Over budget" warning with the amount exceeded.

Do budgets reset automatically?

Yes. Budgets are calculated fresh each calendar month.

How many budgets can I set?

Free plan supports 3 budgets. Pro plan supports unlimited budgets.

Privacy & Security

Who can see my financial data?

Only you. PASUMBIYA uses Supabase row-level security — your data is strictly isolated from other users.

Is my data encrypted?

Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols.

Do you sell or share my data?

Never. Your data is yours. We do not sell, share, or analyse it for advertising.

Can I export my data?

CSV export is available on the Pro plan from the Settings page.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Go to Settings → Account and use the Delete Account option. All your data is permanently removed.

Plans & Billing

Will Pro stay free forever?

No. Once we exit the launch period, Pro will move to paid pricing. Existing free-Pro users will be notified in advance.

Can I downgrade from Pro to Free?

Yes. You can change your plan at any time from Settings → Subscription.

What currency does PASUMBIYA use?

Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR / Rs.) — built specifically for Sri Lanka.
